Atlus has confirmed it will be bringing Trauma Team to the Wii later this year

The latest issue of Famitsu first revealed a spiritual successor to the Trauma Center series, now known to be dubbed Trauma Team. The game, while in the spirit of the previous games, is different in that it’ll have 6 different doctors which 6 different specialities all over the hospital. Each character has a separate story line but eventually they’ll intermingle as the story progresses.

"This game is the penultimate work of the Trauma Center team," producer Daisuke Kanada told Famitsu. "It completes one of the goals for a medical series that we’ve been striving for before, and it’s also a wholly new title, not a sequel to Trauma Center. It’s not just a surgery game, but an entire hospital in game form."

Atlus promises a two player co-operative mode for the game as well as a new mode to make the game more accessible for new players. A bunch of screenshots which can be found in our media gallery.
