During last night’s Nintendo Direct episode Nintendo revealed not only the final name for Animal Crossing 3DS but also showed off a new trailer for the game.
The game in the west is now called Animal Crossing: New Leaf and is still on schedule for a release in early 2013. It is however out within a couple of weeks in Japan. We’ll be nabbing a copy so look out for coverage of that soon.

Really hope that’s not the final logo. It’s really dreadful.
Of course its a final logo. Just hope PAL regions have a different name, vus different logo.
