Angry Birds Trilogy slingshots to the Nintendo 3DS

*animal noises*

by Daniel VuckovicJuly 11, 2012

Angry Birds was announced for the Nintendo 3DS over a year ago now and since then nothing’s been heard of it. Until now.

Rovio has announced that the original Angry Birds, Rio and Seasons varieties will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS as well as the Xbox 360 and Playstaion 3 in a pack named Angry Birds Trilogy.

There’s little information on the package apart from the fact that it’ll have new content and updated graphics. The Nintendo 3DS version of the game will offer some sort of StreetPass functionality as well.  The game pack will be out before Christmas naturally though.

Oh gosh, if it was an E-Shop game, maybe it would be okay, but I heard it’s going on a cartridge. Never gonna get this one.

I have a feeling very few people will be willing to pay for a free game (on android). Plus it’s a terrible idea to omit Space. And I don’t foresee the game having updates (if any) as regular as the mobile versions.
