The strangest of collaborations results in DS-controlled robotic dog

Here’s an odd combination if we ever saw one: Sega and Activision are working on a DS game with a toy dog accessory called Wappy Dog. Sega will be creating the dog and Activision will be developing the game.

You can play with and train your dog on the Wappy Dog game and then you can continue your adventure "in real life" with the plastic dog as the game and the dog will sync up. Its personality, tricks and traits will transfer over.

The whole thing is still at a prototype stage, but the game and dog are due out later this year in America. No word on a local release.
