While we in Australia are way behind in the Professor Layton stakes, the 6th game in the series is under development says Level-5 boss, Akihiro Hino. However, while the game was announced, the platform on which it will appear is yet to announced.
The obvious choice here would on the Nintendo 3DS, after all the last game was – however we could see it on the Nintendo DS as well. We could also be completely wrong and see it on the Wii or even something completely different. But wed just be guessing.
The Professor Layton series has gone from strength to strength everywhere in the world since its release only just back in 2007. Theres now even a movie and of course the upcoming crossover with Phoenix Wright on the way.
But for now, well just take the Nintendo 3DS version thanks.
