Wii U confusion continues: Not the Zelda you’re looking for

We all know the Wii U name has been confusing for some people, we’ve all seen the pictures of retailers, media and even fellow gaming sites confusing the Wii U and the Wii.

It’s been pretty funny as well, but one JB Hi-Fi store is taking confusion to the next level with their latest catalogue.

Let’s all see if you can spot it.

That’s meant to be Hyrule Warriors on the left there, that’s out this Saturday the 20th of September. It even has Wind Waker right next to it.

Print mistakes happen all the time, this one just happened to hit a little closer to home.

Thanks to Jacob Aiossa for the image.

Oh no … seriously this just makes it even harder to get the word out there to people that there are new and exciting games coming to Wii U!

JB, you’ve done it again …

Went into EB not long ago, and they had to check to make sure I was buying Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U and not for the Wii. They checked with me twice.

Reason being that a lot of people still think the Wii U is just a minor add on….

It doesn’t help when people in casual conversation refer to the Wii U as the “Wii” either…

Creates a lot of confusion…. Nintendo really needs to start marketing the console properly… Seems like they’ve barely advertised it at all… This is why Playstation is selling like crazy: they’re advertising it a lot more then the other 2… Its also the only console with a real number…
