The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess icon data allegedly appears in eShop
It’s a bummer that the new Legend of Zelda won’t be here this year, but what if there was another new Zelda game to play on your Wii U this year?
According to renowned data master NWPlayer123 it appears that game could very well be The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The ‘title ID’ and the icon for the game has been uploaded to the eShop, sitting there in the background.

So what’s that all mean? It means that Nintendo has created a space on the eShop for the game, and even uploaded some assets. There’s also some debate about whether it’ll simply be a Wii ‘Virtual Console’ version of the game or a completely new HD release as the artwork doesn’t feature the ‘Wii’ wrapper nor the title screen that other Wii games do.
So we’re either getting Twilight Princess on the Wii U, or we’re all just desperate for news.

Wii release for people who don’t own it would be good. But i absolutely loved Twilight Princess! A HD re-release would be amazing.
No matter how interested in Twilight Princess I was, I never actually got around to purchasing it for my Wii, so if a HD remake is made, I’ll definitely get it for my Wii U!
Could it be the GameCube version maybe?
Doubtful and i hope not.. While the Gamecube version had a more accurate Zelda world and a few extra animations, the will version had widescreen support that the GameCube was lacking. And in my opinion, the wii controls worked very well for it.
I hope it’s a HD remake like Wind Waker, I never played Twilight Princess so I’d get it on the Wii U as well, God knows we need some Zelda to tide us over…
