Nintendo demos a much improved store with demos, videos and more
The Wii and Nintendo DSi stores, to put it frankly are pretty rubbish. Theyre slow, hard to find things and its something Nintendo has acknowledged themselves. However, this is all about to change. At a investor briefing today, Iwata finally showed off some of the interface for the shop and it looks mighty impressive and a whole lot smoother.
The channel is part Shopping Channel and part Nintendo Channel rolled into one. The store features racks with different themes of titles to buy and when you select a game you can see more detail on the game. These details include all the usual rundown of information but you can also see movies of the game in action, see opinions from other players and the most important of all, there are demos.
Now were not sure yet if the demos are for all titles or are, at all, mandatory but its a great step forward to at least have the potential for demos.
