Worldwide Revolution launch was never off the cards. Review for Wii Posted by Daniel Vuckovic, Mar 30, 2006 21:00

Worldwide Revolution launch was never off the cards.
Earlier this week Iwata spoke about how ""We don't think it is necessary to do the simultaneous worldwide launch simply because others are doing this."" however a Nintendo spoke person has cleared up what Mr Iwata really meant. “The comments have been taken out of context. What he’s actually saying is that we’re not holding a worldwide launch just because everyone else is doing one too. It’s just another re-iteration of the fact that we’re not looking at what Sony or Microsoft are doing. Unfortunately, it seems everyone’s jumped on it and got the wrong idea.” a Nintendo spokesperson told website MCV So any of you who though the Revolution wasn’t going to be a worldwide launch can now relax, Iwata meant that Nintendo is not making decisions based on what Sony is doing, but rather they are going ahead with their own plan. Much like the Revolution console it’s self. Source: MCV .
