Nintendo of Japan have released a new trailer for the fuzzy new instalment in the Kirby series, Kirby’s Epic Yarn. The new trailer shows off a story sequence the plot [?] that reveals how Kirby gets thrown into the magical land of yarn that is the setting for his next adventure, as well as some gameplay showing off some new and old footage of how the co-op mechanic will work. Also shown is the return of a certain penguin-like boss character, but this time made out of yarn.

Kirby’s Epic Yarn is slated for a Japanese October 14th, 2010 release date, with the North American release date being 3 days after that on the 17th. Hopefully there won’t be too much of a delay for the Australian release of this as it’s looking to be one of the cutest Wii games to be released. Hopefully the gameplay matches the phenomenal graphics.
