EA Sports Active goes 2.0 Review for Wii Posted by Daniel Vuckovic, Mar 11, 2010 06:31

EA Sports Active goes 2.0
A new (multi-platform) EA Sports Active is on the way.

EA Sports today announced that EA Sports Active 2.0 is on the way, but the Wii won’t be the only system enjoying the fun this time around as versions are coming to the Playstation 3, iPhone and iPod Touch as well.

EA Sports Active has been a hit for the company, going on to sell millions of copies worldwide. So what’s new this time around? Well this time, your fitness will be measured by new leg and arm straps that not only have motion sensors, but also a heart rate monitor. It’s not the Wii Vitality Sensor but EA’s own little device.

EA Sports’ press release says that the game will have an online hub which will allow you to track and share your workout data with the world, but we’re not sure if that includes the Wii version or not.
