Eternal Darkness trademark reregistered by Nintendo
Nintendo has refreshed the GameCube classics trademark, speculate away.

It’s been revealed that Nintendo have renewed the trademark for GameCube cult favourite Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requim with the US trademark office. The game, developed by Silicon Knights, brought survival horror to the purple console in a time much like now, where there weren’t an abundance of ’mature’ titles on Nintendo’s home system.

So what could Nintendo be planning, if anything? Theories range from a simple New Play Control remake, to a Wii Vitality sensor version, or for just a plain sequel. Who knows what’s up, but we hope it’s something.
