Good old rumours, we never know when to post them but since our last one was correct and now we’ve heard some more information along the traps we’ll divulge in a little rumour mongering.

The Nintendo DSi’s release date and price has so far been unannounced apart from a vague idea in a Q1 interview with Nintendo Australia boss Rose Lappin. But we can tell you today that the jumbo sized DSi XL should be heading our way in early April, the 4th to be precise (though this could change).

We’ve also heard word on the price, which should come in at $349 Aussie dollars. The standard DSi is priced at $299. This puts the XL very close to the Wii in pricing, at Christmas time the Wii was even selling for that same amount.
