Whether or not you believe Nintendo that the new Zelda tile for Wii will be out this year, what’s for sure is that someone outside Nintendo will at least be playing it; possibly at the E3. In a new interview in this week’s Famitsu, Eiji Aonuma producer at Nintendo has said that he would ’like to show something playable," and that, "We’ll work hard in order to get you playing it as soon as possible."
So if it’s nearly ready for a playable demo, it must be close to being finished right? "We’ve progressed in development since last year," says Aonuma. "At present, the core areas have come into clear view." Read into that what you will.
Lastly, confirming what we all thought would happen, it seems that the game is Wii MotionPlus exclusive. It didn’t come easy, though, as the team argued about it, not everyone has the device. However, it was soon overturned as, "it just feels so natural. Link’s sword and the controller that you’re holding become one."
