There’s a new kid on the block in the realm of DS titles ending in the letters ’ez’. This time, however, it looks promising.

Dubbed Faceez, the game will allow players to take photos of their friends and pets using the DSi’s inbuilt camera. Many post shooting effects such as humorous backgrounds and clip-art style accessories, which the game features more than one hundred and fifty of.

In addition, players will also be able to swap certain facial features with other similar photos in their album. That’s right, you’ll finally be able to graft little Mr. Mitten’s nose onto your uncle’s face directly from your DS. If you’re lover of crazy and occasionally disturbing photoshopped images, then this game might just be your cup of tea.

According to developers, Neko, once creations have been made, players will be able to implement their images into sixty-five animations to create a truly bizarre experience. "From riotous facial animations that make photos come to life to over 150 accessories that disguise the identities behind them and much more," says Laurent Lichnewsky, Neko Entertainment’s Managing Director. "Faceez will be a unique and universally appealing addition to the DSiWare library in 2010."

Faceez will debut as a DSi exclusive sometime in the near future on DSiWare and will feature online Facebook connectivity. A price and exact release date are as of yet unconfirmed.
