Since it launched, the Australian Club Nintendo service hasn’t received any new items. You’re able to add all the latest games and rack up points but outside the original five items, nothing has been updated. We’re all quick to jump on Nintendo Australia for this but it seems that they might not be in control of what is and isn’t up there.
A report from Nintendo Life suggests that all decisions regarding what does or doesn’t go on the service is outside Nintendo Australia’s control. We know the site is based off the UK design and hosted on Nintendo Europe’s servers, but who is pulling the strings if Nintendo Australia isn’t?
We’ve contacted Nintendo Australia for a clarification and comment on the claims. To be honest, and we’re sure you agree, we don’t really care who runs it as long as it is updated periodically.
