Both the European and American Club Nintendo sites have revealed a handful of new rewards that have been added to their websites..

Let’s just get down to business. The UK has finally received the Game & Watch Collection on the DS, which has been on the Australian store since March of this year. Using our trusty abacus, we’ve worked out that the Poms would have to buy about one-and-a-half times the value of games as us to get the same item. We so rule.

And here comes the bad part (for us anyway). The next addition is an Animal Crossing CD album. All of the 39 tracks feature K.K. Slider, and 23 of these were voted for by European fans. But it doesn’t end there. Other new items include some red Pokémon Platinum Version t-shirts, a Giratina Origin Forme bookmark and ball and, for the chick magnets out there, both a Wii and a Zelda beach towel. Hot!

If your blood hasn’t boiled yet, then maybe this isn’t a good time to remind you that the US store was also updated. For those who want to spruce up their paperwork, these are sure to please. First up are folder and bookmark sets in the themes of ‘Bowser’ (featuring Bowser, Bowser Jr., Dry Bones, Goomba and Bullet Bill artwork), ‘Toad & Friends’ (featuring Mario, Toad, Princess Peach and Yoshi artwork) and ‘Mario & Friends’ (featuring Mario, Luigi, Toad, Princess Peach and Yoshi artwork). Finally, the Americans get a couple of greeting card sets in the themes of ‘Mario & Luigi’ (featuring Mario, Luigi and Yoshi artwork) and Nintendogs (featuring Dachshund, Labrador and Chihuahua artwork).

So what does this mean for us? Well, we’ve had the same five items since Club Nintendo launched and it’s about time that we’re offered some new stuff. With the UK Catalogue being updated two days ago and the US one just yesterday, hopefully we will see some brand new items very, very soon.
