The Australian Classification board has updated this morning with a ton of new Nintendo games being rated. First up, the big one, Pokémon’s HeartGold and SoulSilver have been classified. No, it doesn’t mean they’re coming that soon and there wasn’t any doubt at all that they would come our way, but it’s comforting nonetheless. It’s also curiously rated G with no gambling references; we doubt any foul play but it is odd.
Next is the highly sought after Excitebike: World Challenge, yes, a slightly different name for the online and multiplayer remake of the NES classic. Last week, Reflect Missile was rated on the Thursday before our weekly update – hopefully this means we might be getting it tomorrow.
The other two games rated were DSiWare titles. One is another Q-Games title called Star Ship Patrol, and the other is called Link ’N’ Launch, which is the rocket fuelling puzzler known in Japan as Panel Connection: 3 Minute Rocket.
With the DSiWare schedule already pretty full for tomorrow, we don’t think we will be getting these titles but crazier things have happened. Fingers crossed for Excitebike!
