Storm City Games recently revealed the cover of the first DSi-exclusive game for the Western market, System Flaw, and oh dear, it looks like the sort of thing you would find in a bargain bin.
To stop the potential mobs of angry mums asking why the game didn’t play on their kid’s DS, DSi-exclusive titles will feature a new “Only Plays On” logo on the cover. Personally, it would be nice if DSi-exclusive game cartridges also come coloured white, as opposed to the current dark grey cartridges, to make them stand out in a pile.

System Flaw is essentially a first-person shooter, but with a difference. Forget elaborate maps of hostile locales you’re all too familiar with, System Flaw consists of the most terrifying places that hardcore gamers could ever imagine—the outside world! (cue ominous music)
Yes, System Flaw uses the Nintendo DSi camera to turn your surroundings into the playing environment. Your DSi becomes a weapon against attacking alien sprites with a “laser” as you move around, with only the R Button being used for the trigger.
Probably better suited to DSiWare, the game offers a meagre 10 unique creatures to fry in 100 scripted levels, with 360 degrees of intensity.
System Flaw hits America later this month. Frankly, we don’t mind waiting for this one.
