Super Star Wars, Rock N’ Climber hitting US Virtual Console
Super Star Wars heads to the US Virtual Console today along with Nintendo’s Rock N’ Roll Climber and NyxQuest. More Lucas games are also on the way..

American Wii owners are in for a treat today with Nintendo Weekly Download update revealing a wealth of new titles on WiiWare and Virtual Console, and even a new title for DSiWare. First up is Super Star Wars from the Super NES, Super Star Wars is a platformer based on Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, it’s not all on foot though as you’ll not only control Luke on the ground, but also the Land Speeder and X-Wings.

Onto WiiWare and finally America gets NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits (aka Icarian) and Nintendo’s own Rock N’ Roll Climber. The game will make use of the Balance Board alongside the Remote and Nunchuk to navigate a Rock Climber upwards along a range of treacherous levels. Would-be spelunkers are rewarded by watching their character briefly rock out on guitar once they reach the top of each challenge. The game was officially revealed by Satoru Iwata during keynote his address at GDC in San Francisco earlier this year in March.

The Nintendo DSi Ware service gains another Brain Training game in the form of Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters. This little slice Brain Training has an "artistic" focus by "Test[ing] your spelling in Word Attack, enjoy literary classics in Reading Aloud and tune your musical skills in Piano Player."

Lucasarts has also announced that more classic games will be heading to the Virtual Console in the future.

Multiple LucasArts Super Nintendo Games Head to Virtual Console

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fans of Star Wars® and classic Nintendo games will want to keep an eye on their Wii™ Shop Channel for the next month.
