Pikmin had a great box art, but in the process of bringing it to the Wii, Nintendo has seen fit to stick it in a box covered with some gaudy Wii branding. While the people Nintendo are aiming the New Play Control! range at (those who never played it the first time) probably don’t care, core gamers are undeniably finicky about box arts. Nintendo Australia, like Nintendo Japan will be shipping New Play Control! Pikmin (presumably in addition to the other games) with reversible covers. More inside.
Stock delivered to stores today feature the reversible cover notice on the back of the box. We don’t have a picture of the real box yet, but expect to see the old GameCube boxart with the Wii swish over of the top, and that horrible yellow classification logo.
