Neversoft is abandoning the Tony Hawk franchise, and while there is nothing confirmed, it looks like developer Robomodo could be taking the reins according to a report on GiantBomb. “It’s probably best for the franchise … it’s time for someone else to add fresh ideas to it.” says head of Neversoft, Joel Jewett. Neversoft will likely continue to develop the Guitar Hero games, hopefully in the process though not run that franchise into the ground. The new Tony Hawk is rumoured to have a new control scheme which will be controller-less, but nothing is confirmed. .
