As the below video shows the evidence, the “Australian” copy of Animal Crossing Wild World is in fact, the American version- ESRB rating and all. Now while this hasn’t been a problem for 2 years, it is now.
Now the question remains, will the European version of Wild World have any problems when the game is released over there? We’ve passed this news story onto Nintendo Australia and are awaiting comment or a possible fix.
Update 1: Nintendo Australia have acknowledged the problem with transferring data between Animal Crossing: Let’s go to the City and Animal Crossing: Wild World. Nintendo Australia are currently investigating this problem, and apologise for any inconvenience. They have stated that This issue only affects Australian customers, so no need to fret over the Europeans.
