Nintendo have decided you can only download the Wii Speak channel using a 16-character code included with the accessory. If somebody else has registered it or if it is lost or stolen, it ""cannot be replaced by Nintendo or your retailer."" This also stamps out third party microphone accessories. A clever, if extremely annoying, move on Nintendo's part as it means we will have to use it.
