The Wii Browser certainly has some shortcomings. If only there was some alternative, right? Well, it looks like there is! Or there will be, at any rate. Wii Browser 2.0 will feature new buttons, a 'tab cube' to keep track of 6 tabs which can be made invisible when not in use, the ability to see your Wii mail from within the browser and, perhaps most surprisingly, Wii Speak compatibility! But is this one free for a limited time? No. It will set you back 500 Wii points. Unless, of course, you actually paid for the first version (or got it free originally). Then it's free. A nice little gift for late Wii adopters who purchased the browser..
