Another month passes and Nintendo takes the NPD crown. It really does seem likely that Nintendo doesn’t need the DSi in America. The Wii sold through 687,000 units in September; an increase of 234,000 from the last month. The Nintendo DS came in second with 537,000 sold. Software-wise four games made the top ten, with Wii Fit in it No. 2, Mario Kart Wii in at No. 4, Wii Play in at No. 7 and the Force Unleashed arriving in at No. 8.
