The WiiWare store has finally launched in Japan. The WiiWare services provides proud Wii owners with new and unique downloadable software (specifically games) for the Wii and to mark the launch several titles have been released. While we already know the price of WiiWare games, today’s launch has revealed just how many blocks of memory we’ll be needing if we want to try these games. More inside.Of the more well known titles, Star Soldier R takes 141 blocks, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles – My Life As Kind takes 287 blocks and Saku Saku Animal Panic requires a whopping 301 blocks. Along with the revelation of these games, today Square Enix updated the official My Life As Kind website and subsequently revealed the title to be the first to use Nintendo’s previously announced “Pay To Play” system, brandished with the infamous red Wi-Fi Connection logo. SE’s website has now revealed that downloadable content will be but limited to extra skins for the king, new dungeons, buildings and even a new race.
