The latest issue of Edge magazine has a rather interesting news piece, while nowhere near a confirmation, Edge magazine has found out via Japanese sources that the Wii version of Animal Cross is set to be a “social networking MMO”. Nothing else is said in the article, except for that the game is on the way, but we all knew that. Website CVG contacted Nintendo for a comment and they said the usual “we don’t comment on rumour and speculation” line. Guess we’ll find out whether Animal Crossing is set to create yet another awkward acronym for the Gaming World. .
