Warner Bros interactive opening local office
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has sent word that as part of its expansion of its game publishing branch it will be opening a local office here in Australia. The office will be distributing its own games, through the US based production arm WB Games, as well as third party game titles. ""We are dedicated to growing our videogame publishing capabilities in the Australian market,"" said Kevin Tsujihara, President, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group. More inside.
""Our product slate includes internally developed games as well as several partner companies’ games that cater to the multiple gaming audiences throughout Australia.”. Mark Aubrey, who was Activision’s Product Manager, is taking the reigns as the Marketing Manager of the local office and is putting a team together. The first games that Warner Bros will launch are Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 2 and Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck for the Nintendo DS due for launch next year.
