Good news everybody. Turns out the interview with Red Octane’s president Kai Huang was a little ways off from the truth. Contrary to recent belief, when the game launches on the Wii is less than two months it will feature online play. What was not taken out of context however was the announcement that the Wii would not feature downloadable content when the the game ships. Red Octane will continue to pursue this problem with Nintendo but a resolution to the issue is unlikely to arrive anytime soon. .
