Mega Smash Update – Multiple Music Tracks per Level
It’s Friday and Mr. Sakurai has given us one of hell of a huge update today on the Smash Bros Dojo, not only do we get an awesome new feature, but two more music samples to listen to as well as a new item which affects the music! The ‘My Music’ feature allows you change what tracks from the stages you listen to and how often they will play. Sakurai says this was done because not everyone started on the same Mario game for example and so these people may recognise tracks from more recent games in a franchise. More Inside.
But you won’t get all the tracks from the get go; the new item is a CD which when collected unlocks a new track for that particular stage. From the screenshots we can see that each stage features at least 4 different tracks, from a variety of titles in Nintendo’s history. Sakurai also mentions that while some tracks have been redone, others will sound exactly like the originals.
In addition to information on this awesome new feature, the site has provided two new music tracks, one is the Brawl theme we have heard before and the other is an updated Pokemon Theme, which contains the “Evolution” music that plays when the stage changes just as if your stage was evolving! Head on over the Smash Bros Dojo for More
