August is over and the Wii has yet again continued to steam roll the competition in all countries, especially in Japan where Bloomberg reports it is outselling the PS3 at a ratio of 3-1. During August, Nintendo sold 245,653 Wii consoles while Sony managed to move 81,541 PS3. Sony did close the gap a little as Wii outsold PS3 at a ratio of 4-1 the month before. As usual the Xbox 360 failed to register much attention in the region selling just 11,288 units.
