It’s not a good sign when you hear that Red Octane is still “working on a solution” to online multiplayer in Guitar Hero III for the Wii. Considering the scope of the franchise’s popularity Wii owners are sure to be less than enthused. In a recent report Bryan Lam, Senior PR Specialist with Red Octane had said “We’re working closely with Nintendo for an online solution, though at the moment we’re unable to confirm the status of the online multi-player.” More Inside.
This also unfortunately applies to the downloadable content on the console. The game which is set for release in just under two months could still change in time for then but it doesn’t bode well. Guitar Hero III is set for releases here on the 31st of October and the Wii verison will cost $159.95, extra Wireless Guitars will be $79.95. Source: Kotaku
