You don’t hear much out of Rare any more (even less then before), but when you do it’s usually via their letter page and that’s exactly the case as usual this week. First up is news about Rare games appearing on the Wii’s Virtual Console and while Rare have nothing “in the pipeline” the final decision is not really up to them but rather the gang at Nintendo. The other Nintendo related news is pertaining to Viva Pinata DS, and while it doesn’t so much pertain to the game itself, it does suggest that there may be more to follow. “Viva Piñata also shows that we can bring across properties other than those owned by Nintendo.
