Yesterday we learnt that 100 games had been added to the Virtual Console and that 4.7 million had been sold since launch, however what Nintendo didn’t tell us was that unlike the quarter previous virtual console sales were up in Q2. More Inside.
Wired Blogs has the skinny saying that since the last report 3.3 million games were sold. That means sales for the month of May were 1.4 million, which is more than double the average for a single month. What could be the reason for this surge, perhaps it’s that there is more Wii’s out there or that the games in May were better then the ones in April. Either way its good news for Nintendo. Source
