A few weeks ago a number of stories circulated that Mario Strikers Charged Football would be region locked online were making the rounds. According to the reports you would only be able to play online with people from your own region. However this is not the case as it has now been confirmed that Strikers is only region locked for random matches. GoNintendo reports via N-Zone magazine that if you have a friend on another continent with another version of the game you can play with them as long as you trade Friend Codes. Of course you will have to suffer the effects of lag that may occur but you can still play your mates in the US or other countries..
