SteamWorld Heist suffers delay, screenshots ease the pain

The little engine that could.

Some games move forward in release but more often than not they move back. Such is the case now with Image & Form’s upcoming SteamWorld Heist.

The game was originally due in ‘Spring’ which for the geographically inverse means our Autumn. Now it’s more likely to actually launch in our Spring with the game now receiving a more vague and open ‘2015’ release date.

On the companies blog Image & Form Community Manager Julius Guldbog explains;

So our new release window is “2015”. And it won’t be before fall this year. If you’re disappointed I do feel with you. But even worse would be you purchasing an incomplete game, right? We’d never let you experience that. And like I said above: With the extra time we will make SteamWorld Heist the best turn-based, skill-based strategy game with steampunk robots. In space.

Here are some new screenshots of the game to help ease the delay pain.
