Splatoon 2 Pro Controller and Case confirmed for Australia, at a premium
Nintendo Australia has confirmed that Australia will get the Splatoon 2 Edition Pro Controller and Carry case. However both of them will carry a $10 premium over the same non-Splatoon themed items.
The Pro Controller has been set at a RRP of $109.95AU and the carry case and screen protector set is $39.95AU. It’ll be up to you to decide if the Splatoon 2 branding is worth $10 more.

Nintendo’s press release also didn’t mention the Splatoon 2 bundle or Joy-Con sets. We’ve asked Nintendo Australia to confirm whether they’re coming or not.
I want those joycons
I’ll be well disappointed if Australia doesn’t get the bundle. I’ve been waiting for either a slightly better price or a bundle – and the Splatoon 2 bundle seemed like it would be the ticket. I could live without the green/pink joycons but the bundle Japan is getting is exactly what I’m after! 🙁
$110 for that controller. I actually wanted it but I pretty much can’t afford that.
I’m sure there will be deals around unless it’s super limited or something. I got my Pro Controller for just over $63 delivered from Big W using some PayPal deal via eBay. Keep an eye on Ozbargins. I’d love one of these for a 2nd but I’d never pay full price.
Interesting. I’ll be in Japan around the time these are available. Will have to set some money aside for them.
Why we’re not getting a bundle or joycons is beyond me, unless it’s a stock issue and it’ll come out here at a later date, but missed opportunity to hook more switch sales
Well, that’s certainly piggish of Nintendo. The vanilla Pro Controller is already super expensive as it is, and now they want to add another $10 to the price? Will they be charging $130 (!!!!!!!!!!!) for the Splatoon-coloured Joy-Con pair as well?!!
