Silver and Gold variant Mario amiibo found on Nintendo’s website
Thought there were enough amiibo figures already, weren’t planning on buying anymore? Well you might need to reconsider, especially if you’re a collector.
Some sneaky searching of the Nintendo.com domain has found two product testing sheets which both feature (with image and all) a Gold Edition and Silver Edition Super Mario collection figurine.
It’s the same pose as the the yet to be released Mario figure in that range but completely in silver and gold. It’s likely not real silver and gold mind you.
There’s no indication if these will be able to be purchased or perhaps given away at some point, Club Nintendo in America does have silver and gold ‘tiers’ for its members but that program is shortly closing.
So we leave it to you to speculate or better yet, answer this – would you buy a gold and silver range of amiibo?
