Satoru Iwata explains his E3 2015 absence, updates his Mii

We already know Satoru Iwata won’t be at E3 this year, but now we know why. In a series of Tweets on the official (Japanese) Nintendo Twitter account.

Iwata explained his absence on account of the fact that there won’t be any new hardware at E3 this year. Not only that but because E3 is slightly later this year he’s hosting Nintendo’s annual general meeting next week.

In addition to this news Iwata has also updated his ‘official’ Mii, it’s slightly slimmer than OG Iwata-mii due to his weight loss from his illness last year.

So if Iwata is at next years E3 Expo, well you know what to expect now.
