Renegade Kid closes, splits in two and Chicken Wiggle is already on the way
So earlier in the week it was announced that Renegade Kid would be closing, and the two co-creators of the studio forming their own studios,Jools Watsham formed Atooi (which already had a iOS Game) and Gregg Hargrove started Infitizmo.
It hasn’t taken long for Jools at least to announce his next game and it’s coming to the Nintendo 3DS (as well as iOS). Treasurenauts is still on the way, too but this is an entirely new game.Chicken Wiggle features a bird and worm teaming up in some platforming action. The worm acts as a sort of grapple and the bird can fly.
While there’s not much more than that to go on, it was also announced that the game would have a level creation tool, not only that you can share the levels with other players. It’s like Super Mario Maker, but on the 3DS and with a chicken and worm. Here’s what it looks like in action so far.
There’s no release date other than soon, but it sounds interesting!
I bet Jools is annoyed about Super Mario Maker being announced for 3ds. Until then, the level sharing and creation of this was a unique proposition!
