Pokémon X and Y reaches 12 million copies sold, fastest selling 3DS game on record

The latest Pokémon games, Pokémon X and Y have proven to be quite popular – well tell us something we don’t know!
The Pokémon Company has revealed that the games combined have now sold through 12 million copies, combined they’re also now the fastest selling Nintendo 3DS games.
The sales of the game are still brisk, the last reported figure of the two game’s sales put the total at 11.6 million in January.
This announcement comes alongside news that the latest Pokemon movie, the 17th movie – Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction will be heading to English audiences later this year.
