Nintendo closes Nintendo Video services for 3DS

Nintendo has on shuttering spree today, along with all the online modes for DS and Wii games it is also closing down the Nintendo Video service for the 3DS.
The app will stop functioning on March 31st 2014, it really hasn’t got long to live. Nintendo had used the app to push videos to 3DS consoles long before the eShop was around, now that we have that – there’s really no point in it existing.

No loss here. All of the videos that they screen now are just repeats of old content (except for the recent “Misadventures of Link” series).
