Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge no longer exclusive to Wii U

In case you missed it, earlier this week Tecmo Koei announced Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge would no longer be exclusive to the Wii U.

The title will now be released on rival platforms and include 25 extra missions, more costumes and all of the Wii U DLC.

When originally asked if Razor’s Edge would be ported to other systems, Tecmo Koei responded with the following statement:
”Tecmo Koei has not formally announced Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge for additional platforms, but we will share more information when available.”
After the whole Rayman Legends debacle, the loss of Razor’s Edge is another huge blow to Nintendo and its new console.

Nintendo need to sell more systems. Nintendo need to pull their fingers out and get those system selling titles on the market.

    WOW!
This is so stupid because they already have the original Ninja Gaiden 3 on the PS3/360!
Will this affect the Australian release date?
I want the first ever R rated Australian video game now!

I can see whats going to happen, the Wii U version wont sell.

The PS3/360 versions will be alot cheaper because the game is already on those systems (yes i know its updated… but still) so if someone has both systems wants to buy the game they will get the cheaper one.

I don’t think that the PS3/360 will be much cheaper, it will still count as a new release game, but I’m not sure it will sell well.
The original Ninja Gaiden 3 wasn’t well received to my knowledge and even though this is meant to be much better, I don’t see many people re-buying the game, but I guess this will cause the price to drop much faster than the Wii U.
Just like with Rayman, this game is exclusively remade for the Wii U and although this game doesn’t utilise the gamepad as well as Rayman, it will still be a better play on the Wii U imo.

You know what’s even more stupid, the fact that on Australian game retail websites the PS3 & 360 versions of the game actually have a release date where as the Wii U one is still TBA. This in itself will cause people to jump ship, heck I’m even considering dropping my pre-order for the Wii U versions solely on the fact that the other platforms at least have release dates.
