Next batch of New 3DS cover plates announced for Japan

The system has only just launched in Japan and there’s already a new batch of Cover Plates for the New 3DS on the way to Japan.

The first batch of new plates will be out in Japan on the 21st of November. Hopefully this means we might be getting some of these in Australia.

This batch of designs include a Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire semi transparent design, KK Slider, Question Mark block, Mario and Luigi stache set, Mario and Luigi Camouflage, Boo and Goomba and several stripe options. All of the plates are the same price, so they’ll all be plastic.

The month later there will be a Jibanyan plate. It’s a character from Yo-kai Watch.

Take a look at them below!

I have pre-paid for a NEW 3DS XL and was thinking of getting one of these for the novelty factor. But There are so many cover plates that I would want that I would probably go broke – well played Nintendo. Well played!

@Greg I wish these face plates were available for the *new* 3DS XL, I’d be all over these like a rash.

I was initially thinking a new XL when they were announced, but carrying around my current 3ds in my pocket and the face plates are more than enough reason to go for the smaller brother of the new 3ds’!!
