NES style controls optional in new Punch-Out!!

Nintendo aren’t ones to kiss and tell about their upcoming projects, but with a release looming ever so closer, they’ve released a Fact Sheet for Punch-Out! on Nintendo Wii. Besides confirming and detailing the returning characters, the fact sheet mentions that punches will be performed similar to Wii Sports boxing by waggling the Wii Remote, but the direction that the joystick is being held will in fact change the orientation of the punch, allowing players to perform hooks and jabs should they please. Additionally, the fact sheet confirms that the game can also be played with a Wiimote sideways, emulating a NES-style setup for the game.
