NES Remix appears on Australian Classification site

We keep vigilant eye on the Australia Classification site, but it would appear a game has snuck in under our gaze.

NES Remix has appeared on the ACB website and we have absolutely no idea what it could be. There’s a couple of clues though, the game or games it includes are all developed by Nintendo and it has some violence in it. That’s about it.

The fact that the listing says multi-platform, every game not specifically assigned to a console says that.

We will follow up with Nintendo Australia who submitted the listing, but it’s unlikely they’ll be able to talk about it.

Thanks to Jareth for the tip!

Multi Platform would likely mean Wii U and 3DS wouldn’t it?
My guess would be an all in one NES game, so a Wii/Wii U disc or 3DS cart with like 10 classic NES games on it. But this doesn’t make sense because we can download them individually anyway, unless this is a cheap/collector bundle? Or maybe they jazzed it up to be a bunch of NES games but in HD with leaderboards like Wii Sports Club?
Though something that big can’t be a secret, they would’ve announced it on the last Nintendo Direct?

sadly multi platform normally means that one software title *might* come out on various platforms, it’s a catch all to save the game needing to be reclassified on future hardware
