The Square Enix-developed title gets an early 2011 release date
Nintendo of Europe has announced the release date for the upcoming sports compilation featuring none other than Mario and his friends. The release date is a bit weird with the game being released on January 29th in Europe but February 4th in the United Kingdom.
Mario Sports Mix, which was first unveiled at E3 2010, contains basketball, volleyball, dodgeball and hockey. Naturally, the game features Mario, Luigi and co but like Mario Hoops 3-on-3 there will also be Square characters in the game as well.
Expect to hear about an Australian release date some time soon now with the European release locked in. The game is out in Japan today.
