Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, it’s real and it’s coming August 29th.

Early this morning Ubisoft took to its E3 press conference to reveal, at least officially now, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Even Shigeru Miyamoto was there to show it all off. As we’ve all known for a while its a turn based strategy RPG, it just so happens to have Mario and Rabbids in it. There’s Mario, Luigi, Peach and Yoshi in there and then a Rabbid counterpart in an outfit to match, there’s even a giant DK like one as well, complete with tie. The games soundtrack is also being composed by Grant Kirkhope, you may remember him from your childhood and most recently Yooka-Laylee.

The game will be released on August 29th, and being a Ubisoft creation will have a crazy collectors edition to go with it. There’s also several Rabbids characters from the game who have been turn into figurines, they’re not amiibo but they’re pretty cute at least.

So what do we think now that it’s all out in the open? Let us know in the comments.

This looks awesome. Not sure why they didn’t go that little bit further and tack some sort functionality into the figures and call them amiibo though.

Looks Interesting, i like the turn based combat. Good to see a different take on the Mario universe.

I’m kinda glad this got leaked, so we can ease ourselves into this game. It looks alright. If it brings more kids to the switch then I’m all for it. Plus it’s out in August too, bonus.

I can’t believe how great this looks! I had very low expectations for a weird Rabbids crossover and would have never guessed this was what would come of it. Looks amazing, I can’t wait to play it.

I can’t wait for this! I preordered myself the stupid collectors edition because I’m weak when it comes to painted plastic and special packaging hahaha
