Walk, don’t run to the Club Nintendo website – the Year of Luigi – Luigi’s Mansion 2 Diorama is now available for redemption.
The item comes in at a hefty 5000 Stars, hopefully you didn’t buy those Hanafuda cards instead and just have a few points short like old Vook did.

I was thinking of getting this, but the price is pretty high, I picked up the Game & Watch 2 for 2500, if G&W1 comes back for 2500 in the future then I would much prefer these 2 for the same price.

Unfortunately, I did buy the Hanafuda Cards, thinking they were going to go quick like the Luigi Coin…oh well :S
5000 stars is a joke! Spewing I bought the Hanafuda cards now, I probably could’ve afforded the diorama. We were so starved of anything decent for years that I jumped on the 2 semi decent things in ages. You only get 200 stars per game, so the 5000 star price is way too high. Disappointing because I’d been waiting for this since it was announced. They probably only got a handful of these things which is why it’s so high. I buy so many 3DS/Wii U games, I’ve got 3 x 3DS and a Wii U. Not sure who can afford this!

Oh no! Why did this have to come up while I was away on holidays? I should have not been so lazy and registered all those cards I have ready to go at home… Seems a slim chance, but I really hope it’s still available on Friday!
I went with the Hanafuda cards. As cool as the diorama is, you can’t really use it like the cards!
Snagged it! Didn’t buy the hanafuda cards because I knew these were going to cost me, only have 700 stars left now. At least now not having had anything to spend them on for ages feels worth it \o/
Bought it after registering some games I’ve owned for nearly 12 months. After the Hanafuda Cards and this, I’m broke!

Happy days…. must have a fair amount of stock too, just checked now & its still available. Funny how we get this the day after “the year of Luigi” has officially finished!

I guess this was as good a time as any to unearth almost every club Nintendo card I’ve accumulated since when it started in like 2008.
Boy am I sick of that survey. I still have a couple handfuls of cards unredeemed. But I did just order the diorama. Luigi needs some love.
I’ve got to admit, I don’t get the hype on this one. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s pretty cool and definitely above average as far as Australian Club Nintendo stuff goes. But 5000 stars and people are still clamouring for it – I don’t get it. I got the Hanafuda cards when they were listed – I’m pretty sure it had been announced back then that this was going to be coming out soon. I’m still happy with the cards though.
Yahoo! It wasn’t sold out by the time I got home today and was able to register a heap of cards! I was hanging out for this so really happy 🙂
